Introverted

As an introverted function it is inner turning. It moves away from the object and focus on the subject. In the case of Ti this make Ti focused on inner validation rather then external validation.

Ti figures out if something is true by turning to their own mind rather then having some else give them approval. Due to being an introverted process it is also very tied up with the inner subjectivity of the user and person.

Judging

All judging functions render decisions. In this way they are directly tied up with the will of an individual. The basic agenda of the judging axis is to be correct. In the case of Ti this manifests itself in the thoroughness in it's deliberations. Ti as a function is also willing to brood on a problem for very long stretches of time, sometimes a single problem can occupy a Ti type for a life time.

Denotative

Denotion describes things as they are. In the case of Ti this means that Ti is looking at the world and taking the facts and simple observations then abstracting from that. In this way a Ti thinkers models and categories are based on real objects in the world. It is not like Feeling and intuition which draw implied connection between objects that may or may not exist in reality.

Thinking

Thinking as a process is about the impartial systematisation of things through a use of logic or rationality.

As a thinking function, Ti is concered with a logical systematic understanding of things. It wants things to make sense and for that knowledge to be in accordance with reason. Ti is thus one of the cognitive functions with the strongest relationship with reason.

Ji

Ji is about figuring out how to orient yourself in the world.

Ti is a Ji process. This makes it concered with trying to figure out how to orient itself in the world. Ti deals with problems in an impersonal way and the goal is to be able to create a universal standard by which to judge the world.

Ti/Fe Axis

Ti/Fe axis is universal judgement.

This means that Ti/Fe is seeking to find a universal standard for a collective of people. In the case of Ti this makes it take all the clashing values of the external world and make a system that can be used for all these different kinds of people. It creates the fair rules and standards and then creates logical justifications for why things are the way they are.
