Extroversion

In the case of extroversion, we come again to the orientation of Ne to the world. Ne wants to come to know the world. It distrust subjective information about the world for things that it sees to be external to the self. This makes Ne types very grounded in the world around them. For they are immersed in engaging with it

Perceiving

Ne is a perception function this is one of the reasons that Ne types are so open minded. They wish to see all the different ways that the world could possible be. To consider all the different perspectives is essential to them.

Connotation

Here connotation gives Ne the airy quality. Where Se is earthy and grounded, realistic and very matter of fact. Ne is ungrounded, imaginative and dreamy.

Ne is bring to the objects things that are not manifestly there. It is narrowing connections between different objects that exist in the world. This gives it the capacity to bring so many different perspectives.

Intuition

Where sensation concerns itself with the actual world. Intuition concerns itself with ideas, with the abstract with concepts. It is a light with which you see. Intuition is connotative in that it brings to objects that which isn't already there.

Pe

Pe is the function with which you come to know the world directly. Pe is about perceiving the world as it is. About being objective and also about taking in information about what is going on.

Ne thus is a function that informs a person about what is going on in the world. Where the possibilities are. Ne also is objective in the sense that it is grounded in ideas that it sees in the world in some way.

Ne/Si Axis

Ne/Si axis is universal perception. This means that Ne/Si is trying to see the totality of a thing. To perceive it in such a way as to encompass it. To see a generalized perspective that transcends their own experience. A perspective that is stands the test of time.

Ne in this axis plays the role of engaging the world of bring to the table to the totality of different perspective. Investigating and trying to find every possibility and to then codify all of this in Si. Ne is thus very open to people, books, new perspectives and alternative perspectives. For the quest of Ne is to venture out and explore as much new land as possible.
